I thought it was time for the NY Knicks to get a facelift. This is a behind the scenes look into the amount of work that went into putting this rebrand together with very limited resources.

So what do you do when you already have a well thought-out plan to launch your new artist name to the world but the World Meteorologist Organization just named the upcoming hurricane after your new name? You scratch all it and jump on the opportunity to capitalize on it since it will be heavily covered by the media. This was the case with hurricane “Joaquin” and “Joaquin Rivs”. I only had less than one week to put something together before the Hurricane touched down in New York and this was what my music producer and I were able to put together.
Wrote the song, recorded the record, shot the video on a tripod on a rainy day, art directed the video, edited the video, came up with the branding and other digital assets to create some buzz and public engagement. I also had to create the site from scratch to be able to host all of the artists content.

I wrote and Art Directed this spoken word piece with my good friend and Director, Chris Aran from Root Level Films. The purpose behind this piece was to reflect back on the experiences 2017 brought for me.
I had to document my first tattoo experience in true New York fashion, especially if it’s from the one only Inal Bersekov, Drake’s personal tattoo artist at the world famous Bang Bang shop.
